A VISION OF HOPE FOR THE CHURCH
A LETTER FROM DELEGATE LAURA SPEIRAN
Dear Fellow Delegate,
With Jurisdictional Conference only days away, the charge we have to elect four episcopal leaders looms large. However, I look forward to the conference with confidence, because I believe we have candidates worthy of election. One of those candidates is Kennetha Bigham-Tsai.
On behalf of the West Michigan and Detroit Delegations, the West Michigan Conference, and many other groups who have endorsed Kennetha, I commend her leadership to you.
At such a time as this, we need episcopal leaders who have deep faith, commitment to The United Methodist Church, integrity, wisdom, and courage—but most of all the ability to inspire hope and a vision for the future. We need episcopal leaders who are not just good pastors and superintendents, but also natural-born leaders who have the gifts to carry us forward. Kennetha is all of these!
Please take a few moments to view this brief video. It is a message from Kennetha about the hope she inspires and what we can do together for the future of our denomination.
You are welcome to contact me for more information. You’ll also find more details on Kennetha’s website: www.BighamTsai.org.
Thank you for your prayerful consideration. See you in Peoria!
In Christ,
Rev. Laura Speiran
Detroit Conference Delegate
